Girls Cricket

For the 2026 season, Burgess Hill CC girls will be entering teams across all the available county youth age groups. Many of the girls will begin to gain experience of playing adult cricket in either our Women’s 2nd XI or the Women’s Softball teams.

The Club will continue to hold its Girls and Ladies Cricket Day to celebrate girl’s cricket and to encourage even more girls and ladies to take up the game.

Our girls and women’s coaching team are enthusiastic with several years successful experience at club level, aiming to provide a safe, welcoming environment where girls and women of all abilities can take part and enjoy cricket with the support and encouragement from all at the club.

We continue to strengthen our partnerships with local primary schools, in particular Birchwood Grove, Manor Field, London Meed and St Wilfrids and The Burgess Hill Academy, formerly Oakmeeds, where girls from Years 3 to Years 10 are regularly involved in training sessions and competitions. Recently schools have been remarkably successful taking part in many tournaments at county, regional and national level.

If you wish to join please contact our Director of Youth Cricket Neil Plimmer …. or go straight to our membership page.
